Basically I have San Andreas V3 on Steam but I wanted to patch it to V1.01 so I could have the resolution set to 1920 x 1080 so I can actually use my second screen without everything being shifted over.
So I patched the game with something I downloaded that basically generated a new .exe file for the game but when I opened it I lost my save game.
It makes 'reasonable' sense to be missing in some aspects but still.
I know the save game file is supposed to be in the 'GTA San Andreas user files' folder in my documents but it's not there (I've never had one there)
So basically my question is where can I find this save game file and how can I use it in the new San Andreas exe? Or do I have to start again?
(May also be worth noting that San Andreas isn't installed to my C drive. It's on my secondary hard drive)
Edit Also, just noticed that my save game still exists on the original .exe file but not the new one and also when I put songs in the custom music folder they don't actually appear in game (Even after I have scanned for new tracks) So I am guessing there is a different San Andreas folder somewhere on my computer but I don't know where
