I’ve got a Windows 10 problem with an HP Pavilion - HP P6110F Desktop PC, 64 bit, 6 GB.
The motherboard is an IPIBL-LB/BENICIA-GL8E/G33/HP. The upgrade from Win 7 to Windows 10 went ok but after the last reboot the system would crash immediately with the “system_thread_exception_not_handled” message. Windows then reboots and this repeats. I updated the NVIDIA driver to the latest version (v341.74) for the GeForce 8400GS video card which is supposed to work with Win 10. The problem continued. I eventually discovered that if I disabled the on-board audio then the problem goes away. The on-board audio adapter is a Integrated Audio ALC888S using Realtek HD Audio Manager so I downloaded the latest driver from Realtek and installed that. Same problem. I then decided to try the Windows generic audio driver. Same problem. The only way I can run Win 10 on this PC is to disable the audio adapter completely. Then everything works fine (excepting the audio of course). Has anyone run across this? Is there a solution short of buying a sound card?
It's the ASUS IPIBL-LB. I asked my instructor if he had any Windows Server discs of any year and the only one he could find is Win2k Server. For which HP has. Searsning fo motherboard IPIBL-LB (Benicia) drivers for Windows 7 - 6165525. MB IPIBL-LB (Benicia). HP cannot control the availability of content that is.
Your a life saver, as long as i've got that frickin LAN driver everything's good. Thanks needed this for using a benicia gl80e board in a custom bullshit build. Can I use a Xeon X5450 on a hp pavilion IPIBL-LB (benicia) motherboard? IPIBL-LB not working with q6600: ASK THE COMMUNITY.
