Jun 17, 2008  confident about getting the BDE installed and we don't have a 64 bit machine to test on. InstallAware lacks the 'install the BDE' option that the old InstallShield had so we're going to have to do it by hand. I don't think we can even use Borland's 'BDE stub' because that probably also contains InstallShield stuff that will fail on 64 bit. Windows 10 Creators Update is breaking Borlands Database Desktop. The program looks like it's starting and them immediately crashes. I've tried this now on 3 machines so far. Has anyone else seen t. If you are trying to uninstall a program in Windows 10, you can try the steps below and check if this will work:

1. On the Start menu select Settings.
2. Select System> Apps & features.
3. Select the program, and then select Uninstall. Some apps built in to Windows can't be uninstalled.
4. Follow the directions on the screen.

Nope! This didn't solve the problem. It is not listed amoung the apps & features. I have to close the message each time I open Outlook.

Go to Outlook - Tools, Account Settings, then on the Address Book Tab see if Corel Address book is listed, if it is - delete it and reboot

No, it is not listed there. To give you some history...I updated to Windows 10 in July. Everything worked fine. At the beginning of October Windows put through a bunch of updates. The problem exists since these updates. Since it is looking for the BDE , perhaps I should reinstall the Corel WP, Suite8 again and see what happens. What do you think?
